SAP manages business links and application permissions. AHCS stores and serves the content. Scenario validation is described below.
Built for your content estate

Keep familiar workflows.
Choose your storage foundation.

Operate on your terms.

Run Docker Compose on your Linux infrastructure, with an open-source database for metadata and your choice of filesystem or cloud object storage.

Built for fast content access.

Streaming uploads and downloads keep content moving, with SHA-256 integrity checks and immutable content generations.

Administer in one place.

Use the web console to configure repositories, ILM stores and cloud storage profiles, manage technical accounts and SAP signing certificates, check integrity and review audit history.

Filesystem and cloud storage

Choose your content destination.

Keep content on mounted filesystem storage or use Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage or Google Cloud Storage. Configure and test cloud storage profiles in the AHCS console, then select a destination when creating a repository or ILM store.

Connected to SAP

Content where work happens.

Selected application scenarios are validated through standard SAP transactions.

GOS attachments

Store and retrieve attachments from SAP business objects.

ArchiveLink documents

Connect stored documents to their business context.

DMS / KPro originals

Work with document originals, replacement versions and retrieval.

ADK archive content

Existing ECC archive retrieval and selected S/4HANA ILM archive workflows have been validated.

A separately configured feature

CMIS 1.1 Browser profile

Use independent repositories and service accounts for folders, documents, content streams and versions. Selected SAP S/4HANA CMIS workflows have passed validation.

SAP ILM / WebDAV

Retain content.
Respect holds. Control destruction.

Connect SAP Information Lifecycle Management to dedicated WebDAV stores. AHCS enforces retention dates and legal holds for content in these stores.

Retention

Keep archives protected.

Store and retrieve ILM archive content while AHCS prevents deletion before the applicable retention period ends.

Legal holds

Preserve held content.

Apply and release legal holds through standard SAP workflows. Active holds continue to block deletion through AHCS after retention expires.

Controlled destruction

Delete when eligible.

Allow authorized destruction only when retention has expired and no effective legal hold remains. Review lifecycle actions in the audit history.

Choose filesystem, Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage or Google Cloud Storage when creating an ILM store. Manage stores and technical-account permissions in the AHCS console. Integration uses standard SAP configuration, with no custom ABAP runtime required.

Tested in real SAP systems

Evidence behind
the integration.

Designed for SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA on-premises and SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition. Selected GOS, DMS/KPro and ArchiveLink workflows are validated in SAP test systems.

Standard SAP repository reports passed in our ECC and S/4HANA test systems, covering selected protocol, transfer and batch operations. Selected native S/4HANA ILM storage, retrieval, legal-hold and destruction scenarios have also been validated.

Before you evaluate

A clear starting point.

What does the annual AHCS price include?

The US$4,999 annual price per SAP landscape includes ArchiveLink, DMS/KPro, GOS and ADK content storage, CMIS, ILM/WebDAV and maintenance. There are no separate AHCS license fees for these capabilities. Migration is scoped as a separate service.

Can AHCS replace my existing content server?

AHCS is generally available. We assess your SAP releases and workflows to establish replacement scope. Migration planning and production acceptance are specific to your environment.

Which SAP deployment options does AHCS support?

AHCS is designed for SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA on-premises and SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition through standard SAP content interfaces. We confirm your release and required workflows during deployment planning. CMIS uses the Browser profile.

Which storage options does AHCS support?

AHCS supports mounted filesystem storage, Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage and Google Cloud Storage for SAP content repositories, CMIS repositories and ILM WebDAV stores. Configure and test cloud storage profiles in the AHCS console, then select the storage destination when creating a repository or ILM store. Moving existing content to another destination requires a migration.

Does AHCS support SAP ILM through WebDAV?

Yes. AHCS provides dedicated ILM WebDAV stores with retention-date enforcement, legal holds and authorized destruction of eligible content. These protections are enforced by AHCS for content in the ILM store. Configure SAP ILM and its store connection using standard SAP configuration; manage the store and its technical-account permissions in the AHCS console.

How does AHCS support a clean-core strategy?

AHCS integrates through standard SAP content interfaces and repository configuration, with no custom ABAP runtime dependency. The content server runs separately from the SAP application, supporting your clean-core strategy.

How is AHCS designed for fast content access?

AHCS streams uploads and downloads rather than loading entire documents into application memory. Performance depends on document sizes, workload, network and storage; we evaluate these with your deployment in mind.
